Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used forms of medicine in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, including placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body, to stimulate and improve your Qi flow. The many benefits of acupuncture include:
Dr. Devi Nambudripad, MD, DC, LAc, PhD (www.NAET.com) discovered Acupuncture allergy elimination techniques (NAET) in the 1980s while working on her own food allergies. She and other practitioners have experimented and expanded upon this rapidly growing technique. Now many food and environmental allergies can be relieved permanently.
Rebecca Herrin, LAc haČ™ been trained in Allergy Elimination, Applied Kinesiology, and modified TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique). Using a combination of Allergy Elimination techniques and Applied Kinesiology, allergy clearing results can be up to 95%.
Devi Nambudripad defines an allergy as "an energy imbalance between the electromagnetic energy of the person and the substance, causing unpleasant, physical, physiological, and/or psychological reactions in the person's body." (Say Good-Bye to Illness, by Devi Nambudripad).
1. Reaction and symptoms to FOODS (ex. dairy, gluten, wheat, vitamins, sugars, and more)
2. Reaction and symptoms to ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS (ex. pollen, dust, pet hair/dander, fabrics, etc.)
3. Reaction and symptoms to PARTS OF OUR OWN BODIES (such as bacteria, virus', auto immune diseases, and more)
A session of Allergy Elimination (AE) involves using Applied Kinesiology (AK) techniques, such as muscle testing different vials or other potential allergens. The vials contain water, alcohol, and the electromagnetic signature of the allergen. The vials are not opened! they are produced by Ergopathic Resources (www.ergopathics.com).
Muscle testing is a biofeedback technique use to gain information directly from the body's own innate intelligence. The client resists the practitioner's gentle pressure on a muscle while while the patient is in contact with a potential allergen. Muscle testing has received both positive and negative critiques. However, practitioners such as Chiropractors, Naturopathic Physicians, as well as Acupuncturists practice this technique. Countless patients have had life changing results with AE without risk. One study showed a 90% agreement between muscle testing for food allergies and the standard finger prick test to determine food allergy.
Once an allergen is determined the patient is "cleared" using a percussive massage to their back while breathing in a specific pattern. An acupuncture treatment follows every clearing to assure the best, long-term results. Additionally, a modified TAT may be used to improve results.
Each session involves AE techniques followed by an Acupuncture treatment and a 24 hour allergen avoidance period.
Cupping has been a part of Chinese Medicine for over 2,500 years. It relieves aches and pains, improves circulation, and also helps with respiratory and digestive issues. I place "cups" onto specific points on your body and apply suction. This results in increased blood circulation to that area of your body, which strengthens your Qi (energy).

Chinese herbal medicine is a 2,000 year old tradition using naturally occurring substances — including herbs — to enhance one's health and vitality. As opposed to Western medicine, the foundation of this approach is to support the body's natural self-healing mechanisms and abilities.
Each patient has different needs, I prescribe high-quality, professional-grade herbal medicines that are available only to qualified licensed professionals.

Electroacupuncture is a highly effective holistic treatment for pain, nausea, and chronic ailments. In practice, it is actually very similar to traditional acupuncture. Using the exact same system of Chinese Medicine, I insert very thin and sterile needles into specific points along the meridians of your body. I then attach the needles to a device that delivers gentle electrical pulses between two points. This helps restore the healthy flow of Qi (energy) through your body, removing any blockages and clearing out stagnant areas, thus creating a stronger and clearer experience of health and well-being.
Electroacupuncture is often included within treatment sessions; depending on the patient's needs.
